This feast day is called Michaelmas, after St. Michael. Although we believe God created a heaven full of angels, Scripture mentions these three by name. For a well-written introduction to them, visit this site.

A family tradition...
After Mass, at Holy Redeemer, we pray the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. If you don't know it yet, take sometime to memorize it and pray it every day as a family.
